Bursa is one of the most important cities in Turkey in terms of places to see since it has hosted many civilizations through the history as well as being the capital city of Ottomans for a certain period of time. Bursa is an attraction point for both domestic and foreign tourists thanks to the centuries-old locations, museums, natural beauties, parks and historical artifacts it has.<\/p>\n

Bursa Grand Mosque (Ulu Camii)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Grand Mosque is one of the greatest historical structures in Bursa. The construction of the Grand Mosque was started by Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m Bayezid in 1396 and the construction was completed in 1399. The appearance of the mosque may seem plain, but interior parts of it are impressive.<\/p>\n

Koza Caravanserai<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Bursa is also famous with its caravanserais. The best-known one among them is the Koza Caravanserai<\/a> which is located near the Grand Mosque. Bayezid II, the Ottoman sultan then, had the Architect Abdul ula bin Pulat \u015eah to build Koza Caravanserai in 1491. Today, there are many shops selling silk products on the upper floor of the Caravanserai while many cafeterias are located on the ground floor.<\/p>\n

Bursa Clock Tower<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Being one of the most important symbols of Bursa, the Clock Tower is located in a park in Tophane district, which is close to mausoleums of Osman I and Orhan Ghazi. The clock tower, which was built by Sultan Abdul-Aziz, had been destroyed by time, and the current tower was restored in 1905.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Uluda\u011f<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Uluda\u011f Ski Center is the most famous touristic place in Bursa. With an altitude of 2543 meters, Uluda\u011f has been used as a ski center since 1933, and was announced as a national park in 1961. The region, which is always covered in snow between October and April, is available for winter sports and winter tourism during half of the year.<\/p>\n
