Conspicuous for its pink mosaic-covered interiors in addition to its stylish fa\u00e7ade, 360-degree exposure to sunlight is one of the most important architectural features of the mosque. Repaired for numerous times since the day of its construction, the mosque was ultimately subjected to a 3-year restoration process started in 2011, as its foundation was slipping into the sea.<\/strong><\/p>\n
