The Toys Museum which is the present of poet and novelist Sunay Akin to Istanbul has been opened in 2005. In the museum where the oldest toy is 300 years old, it is possible to find a toy which draws interest of all ages, refreshes their memories and evokes their imagination.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En eski oyunca\u011f\u0131n 300 y\u0131ll\u0131k oldu\u011fu m\u00fczede, b\u00fcy\u00fck k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck herkesin ilgisini \u00e7ekebilecek, an\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 canland\u0131rarak hayal g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc harekete ge\u00e7irebilecek bir oyuncak bulabilmek m\u00fcmk\u00fcn.<\/p>\n

The interior decoration of the museum opened by Akin via transforming her 3-storey family heirloom mansion in Goztepe has been made by stage designer Ayhan Dogan. The toys bought by Akin from toy collectors, auctions and antique dealers in different countries since 1990 give important hints about the culture and life style of the period they belong to. They decorate the showcase of the toys museum in many different themes from space travel to undersea adventures.<\/strong><\/p>\n
